Christmas Song Selection

Well, I should give you a little history. After Lori selected her song for our scrapbook a song challenge, she had second thoughts and wanted to change her choice. I had already ordered my photos for the song that she selected so I didn’t really want to change up. As it turns out, she wanted to do a Christmas song instead. Rather than replacing her song selection with the new choice, we decided to add a Christmas song inspired page challenge.

So, with that, we have to each create a page using Little Bit of Life by Craig Morgan, another page using Every Picture Tells a Story by Rod Stewart and a another page based on the Christmas song of our choice. Needless to say,  we are going to be busy with all of these challenges to work on.

I have not yet selected the song that I am going to use for my Christmas song inspired page,  but Lori has decided that she is going to use O Holy Night. Just in case anyone isn’t familiar with all of the lyrics, here they are:

O holy night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear saviour’s birth
long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appeared and the soul felt it worth
A thrill of hope the weary soul rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
Oh hear the angels’ voices
O night divine, oh night when Christ was born
O night, O holy night, O night divine
O night divine, O night, O night divine

  1. I’ve never heard this song, but it sounds nice. Which CD is it on?
