Challenges Update

I dont’ really have anything to update and I won’t have anything for at least another week. Lori still needs to complete her Something Not Quite Right challenge and her comic strip journaling challenge, but she is on vacation this week and will not be doing any scrapbooking until some time after she gets back. In the mean time, I figure that I can invite your input on which challenge should be next on our list. We have a fairly long list of options, so please read through the list and select your favorite.

Theme Page Challenge – We will select a theme and we both must complete a single layout for that theme. For this, we could do either a product swap, both use the same products or select our own products related to the theme.

Same Embellishment Challenge
– We both must create a page using the same embellishment as the starting point. We can use whatever other supplies we would like. We will do this as a Lori’s Choice and Michelle’s Choice challenge.

Monochromatic Challenge – We both must create a page using only a single color (multiple shades is acceptable). Michelle will choose the color for Lori’s page and Lori will choose the color for Michelle’s page.

Interview Challenge – We both must conduct an interview with someone (5-10 questions) and create a layout that includes the questions and responses.

Take 5 Challenge – For this challenge, we would each photograph 5 ordinary objects that we use every day and create a page explaining why the objects are significant or representative of our lives.

Favorite Food Challenge – We will each create a page layout about our favorite food (or whatever food is our favorite that particular day).

Embellish with a Card Challenge – We will each create a page in which we use a holiday card or cards as embellishments.

Compare and Contrast Challenge – We would each create a page comparing two people in our lives. We could compare ourselves to another person or compare two other people to one another.

Photo-Free Challenge – We would each create a layout that conveys a story without using any photos.

Another Voice Challenge – We would create a page on which we would journal from someone else’s perspective.

Dictionary Challenge – We would each create a page on which we would define the qualities of the subject through dictionary style journaling.

Classified Ad Challenge
– We would each create a page and journal as if we were writing for a classified advertisement.

Newspaper Challenge – We would each write a “news” story about the subject of our photos on a page.

Correspondence Challenge
– We would each design a layout using a picture of a person and then journal in the form of a letter to the person in the photo.

Wanted Poster Challenge
– We would each create a page styled after an FBI wanted poster.

Timeline Challenge
– We would each create a page using a timeline style.

Crossword Puzzle Challenge
– We would each create a layout where at least a portion of our journaling would be constructed in the form of a crossword puzzle.

Scrabble Challenge – We would be given a set of 10 random letters. We would each have to create our title using just letters selected from this set and then create a page using that title. (We will have a neutral party select the random letters for us.)

Please let me know which of these challenges you would like for us to tackle next. I will accept votes all week and next weekend, I will let you know which challenge was selected.
