Today was another one of those days in which I was rushing to get a card finished as I was supposed to be leaving for work. This particular card works for 3 challenges: Truly Scrumptious which is a sketch challenge with a bonus of using vellum on your card; Stamp Something which is Glitzy Somethings; and Papertake Weekly which is “red and green must not be seen.”
I followed the sketch from Truly Scrumptious (which is another of those challenge blogs that I had forgotten how much I like). As far as glitz, the vellum had purple glittery patterns on it and I used Stickles to color the angel’s halo, wings and robes. To be perfectly honest, I like this glitzy something way more than I liked the other one that I did. The other one felt forced. This one was more of a happy accident. This card is all purples and whites with a touch of gold for the halo, so there is no green or red.
